Community
Partners in agriculture, elevating our communities.
JGL is dedicated to partnering with farms and like-minded organizations in elevating our communities, putting commitment into action through our contributions, employee efforts, and various sponsorships and partnerships.

Why it matters
Strong communities are the fabric of well-being
JGL recognizes strong communities are the fabric of well-being for our customers, employees, partners and their families. We invest in opportunities that make lasting improvements to communities where we live, work, and play. Citizenship and volunteerism have been a priority for JGL and our employees alike: by encouraging and empowering our employees to support their charitable interests, we help make a difference across a wider area of reach.
Community health
JGL has a long-standing focus on improving the quality of life in our communities through the ongoing support of health, wellness, and rural care, encouraging healthy, active lifestyles in the communities where we live, work and play.
Rural first responders
When emergencies happen in rural areas, response time often depends on a few volunteer first responders serving a large geographic area. JGL supports partnerships and events that help ensure rural first responders and residents have access to essential equipment and tools.
The next generation
The founders of JGL have always believed that investing in young people with a passion for agriculture is essential to the industry's future.
JGL Legacy Scholarship
Established 2012, ten awards every year
The JGL Legacy Scholarship was established in 2012. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to 10 deserving young people in the Prairie South School Division who reside in rural Saskatchewan and are enrolled in post-secondary education, with special consideration given to those enrolled in an agriculture related program. The annual scholarships aim to promote growth in rural Saskatchewan by re-investing in its greatest resource: young people.
JGL is also proud to support Agriculture in the Classroom-SK (AITC-SK), a nonprofit charitable organization that brings agricultural education to more than 70,000 youth across the province every year.
